Did I say remote? Meant memory wire (yellow on on the kenwood) my bad. I thought a 12V car system is 12V everywhere with just different amperage. Without a resister in line how would you drop the voltage? I have not wired the power to the battery directly. Will try this too and rewire the...

Another thing I forgot to mention. Could be a voltage over ground issue. I do have two battteries so I might bot notice a small voltage leak. But if my ground is ran to the battery for the radio now then I am bypassing this problem right? thanks in advance!

Got a problem that is driving me mad. My 8126 will not hold radio presets (I have and external Kenwood HD tuner). Every say 10 times I start the truck it goes to 88.7 and losses all ,my presets. Had a double din alpine that did the same thing before this unit with HD radio. Had a JVC unit before...
