when i turn up the bass basically cuz when i turn it up without the bass sometimes the sound messes up depending if the song has alot of bass or not and how do you know if the wiring has a short???? .... or outta phase (see noob)

I got a head unit and when i turn up the volume and i turn the bass a little bit the music turns off or the whole head unit turns off. Why is that ??? im not running any amps or subs ......do i need a capacitor??

i had that problem like 2 months ago and they were going to charge me to do it....but i searched and its just look in your head unit there should be a pink wire ....connect the pink wire to any metal ...even to the metal in the radio thats wat i did ...and it work..i just put tape(ghetto)...
