    connecting 24 gauge to 12 gauge

    Hi, So I just ran a 12 gauge speaker wire from my amp to my component speakers. The connection for the mid's are fine, but I was wondering if it is okay to be connecting the 12 gauge wire to the 24 gauge wires that the tweeters come with. If so what is the best connector I should be using? Thanks!
