i listen to rap, rock, techno mostly. I know its recommended a sealed box for the idmax but will I get good spl from a sealed box compared to the ported. I heard the w6v2's in a ported box and they sounded nice and were loud. How much sound quality would I lose putting the IDMAX in a ported box?

the w7 is not just an spl sub, the brahmas,xxx, and magnum may be able to put up higher numbers for spl but as far as sq the w7 is extremely linear and has excellent transient response. I would agree that the w7 is a little bit overpriced but there is no way that these subs would eat up a w7...

I saw an Arc Audio 4050XXK and the Zapco Reference 360.4, they are the same price. Isn't the Arc and the Zapco both designed by Zeff. Those are definately my last two choices which one is the better choice?
