there are no fins, only perforation for a length of the amp then just chrome. in fact, here it is: and thanks thats good news about the ground. that means i get to cut another 2 ft almost off the sub amp grnd! yay!

k first thing, my sub amp is sitting on top my sub box. the PGR terminals are on the right side and its grounded on the other, kind of long for a ground which does that have something to do with it overheating rather quickly? i could shorten the ground by maybe 1 to 1 1/2 ft if i ground it on...

ok got both fixed. guy at the shop told me that for some reason the xover was being extra sensitive and was letting the 4v keep it on so he wired the rem to the ignition. with the amp my ground was bad. i had used some left over 4 ga and had temporarily stuck the remaining amount of wire i had...

they didnt have a driver update, and im thinking that its the BIOS update i downloaded from sony vaio support site because thats about when the problem started. but sony said in order to get the original BIOS back, id have to send my laptop off to them......****......
