It doesnt have to be reconed. A split spider can cause a coil to seat uneven. I just need an idea of how to seal it- useyourillusion

I have a 10" L7. The coil, cone and suspension are okay, but the spider has about a 1" tear from being pushed to excusion before being broken in. I heard that you could sew the spider with fishing line through the metal mesh. Any ideas? Thanks- useyourillusion
