i thought i did...i have from the terminals...+1 to + on sub1 to + on sub 1....same with negative...-1 to - on sub1 to - on sub 1 and the same thing on sub 2 but with the second set of terminals...

i have a new mono xt4000d and 2 dual 4 cvx 12's...and on the amp there are left and right speaker terminals a +/- for left and right...how do i wire these up to my subs to get a 1 ohm total...i know to look at the diagrams...and i know how to wire the subs in the box...im just not sure from...

The amp is an older American Bass amp. I'm not 100% sure on the model because it is my friends. Wiring of the subs is not relevant at this point neither is the wiring of the remote wire, or ground. I can say this because it goes into protection wether or not its hooked up to the subs and we also...

the amp i have running around 1000 rms, so like 500 a sub. i dont wanna push the amp to hard because i hear things about orions overheating and blowing, and that is definately not what i want!!! but yes they are hooked up now and they are getting loud...but i have to use a stupid ****ing rca...
