thanks for all of the advice. i think i may with 2 10in alpine type S subs in sealed box with an alpine amp. i think this will be perfect for me.

why a sealed box? i was thinking a ported box would sound better considering ALL of the music i listen to.

i just want something like 500 rms. i want boom when needed. not all of the time. think thats more than enough boom boom for me.
