just acquired 300zxTT, i think the dd9512 d series will be a little big too much for such a small space... looking to trade this combo for a more daily driver friendly setup...within the same price range, otherwise be prepared to offer cash also most people should know what a dd9512 can do...

they probably won't pull you over for just exhaust, usually something else has to be on there, i.e. ghey windshield squirters, ghey lights, non working brake lights etc. i have hks hi power exhaust on my ZX Tt havn't been pulled over with it yet, but i failed ins because the dirtbag said it...

i just recently acquired a 300zx TT, loving it, but the sound could improve... right now i have a dd9512, hifonics brutus 1500d, tsunami db4440, and alpine 9833 waiting to go in...but i need to figure out what size the speakers are. i am only planning to replace the speakers in the front(2)...

i had polk coaxials, the carbon fiber ones, and have heard the infinity polk, more midbass, more punch infinity, more treble...i foudn it to be too harsh

well dd recommends a 2.5 ported box tuned to 45 for their 9512 subwoofer i've emailed them and told them i'm not going for spl but sq and they said that when put in the car...it is actually lower than 45..never got it but they said just built it to that spec and lengthen the port to 18 inches...

got a 9512 here if u want... they have a price at their website...should be 600 shipped i think???

second the 9833 or if u look hard enough a used 9835

depends on what you like, they are basically the same cept for cosmetics whatever floats your boat, can't go wrong with either

which one is the better deck, i'm considering either one or the other since i will be moving into a new car and the current 9833 i have will stay with the car for my sis

wow for 150? that's quite a steal...

it restores bass and treble tones that are are lost when you compress a song...it does wonders for me, i like it, have it at 3 on mine and that's what a lot of people leave it at if you don't have a taste for it then you don't have to use it its not the same as the "loud" setting on other decks
