    What subwoofer should i get?

"Best sounding" is very subjective, so you will get a bunch of different opinions on that. What's your budget like? Sub size preference? Ported, sealed or doesn't matter? In order to get a specific reply, you need to ask a specific question. Otherwise, nobody will bother responding, reply...

I need a design and enclosure built for a Sundown Z15. I would like the enclosure ported at 32hz with a flared port and flush mount double baffle. 3 cubic feet after displacement is what is needed for the sub to perform efficiently. My max dimensions are 17h 25w 22d. I can go a little wider if...

    weird noise with high frequency

Are you sending it a clipped signal? Did this just start happening, or has it been going on for a while, getting progressively worse? Back the gain off a bit and see if that helps. Also, check to make sure you have a good seal between your sub and box.

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

I was thinking of running sealed, facing it foward and sealing it off from the trunk. Kinda like a half wall? I know that it won't have the output of the same setup ported, but that's the best idea I could come up with without cutting metal lol. Also, if I go above a 34-36" width, I'd have to...

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

09 Mazda3 sedan. To Mattd0344: I tried the sub and port both foward and to the rear, in my case I believe that sub/port foward is louder to the ear. I did seal it off however. The dimensions of my current box(see sig), wouldn't allow suffecient airflow between the trunk and cabin so that...

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

If you see this before you start the design, the max dimensions have changed to 34w 16h 22d. I'm only gonna put one in ported, and if that's not enough output for me, I'll either go with two sealed, or figure something else out lol. Thanks again Pioneer.

Who owns an Audioque HDC3 10"?

I've got mine in a 4.5cu^3 tuned at 38hz and it SLAMS on Juice Box, Waddle and Hood *****. Not sure what the freq. on those songs are, but I know they are quite a bit lower than most rap songs. Tuning the enclosure in the 36-40hz range should have zero effect on the low notes provided it's got...

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

mounting depth is lil over 8.5 inches Cut is 13 7/8. There's a couple more specs to help you out Pioneer. I'm not sure about the sub displacement, but it's probably around .2 cubes?

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

Awesome, thanks. Also, could you, or anyone for that matter, tell me if forward firing a sealed enclosure, sealing it off from the trunk would have good output? Or is rear firing the only viable option for a sealed box in a trunk car?

    Need a design for a Sundown Z15

I'm in need of a ported enclosure design for a Sundown Audio Z15. My max dimensions are 17h 20w 22d. I would like tuning to be 34hz and would need the net volume to be at least 2.5cubes. Thank you.
