I just bought a 2006 F-150 supercrew FX4. I want to keep the factory 6disk head deck. But I'm wanting to add a 2 amps, new door speakers and maybe a JL stealth box(maybe). I would prefer to use 6.5 door speakers. Is this possible in this truck? Have (1) set of 6.5 boston pro's from my last truck...
What 4 channel amp would be best to power these speakers? Looking for model numbers of amps by Diamond audio, Rockford, Orion, etc, etc that have enough power to make them speakers rock.

OK, in my Dodge Ram Ext Cab I bought Boston Pro's 6.5 for the front doors and DIAMOND AUDIO D651A D6 5.25" COMPONENT SPEAKER for the back doors. Can anyone give me some ideas for solid amps to power these?Are Directed Audio good amps?

Thanks for showing me where to get the brackets at. I definately want to replace the stock speakers in the back. I take it most people don't think its worth putting good speakers in the back door?

I ordered a set of Boston Pro's 6.5 for the front doors to replace the 6x9's. Do they make an adapter plate for this? or will this need to be custom made? In the back doors there are 5 1/4 speakers. Should I go with this or maybe put 6.5 there also? And will the 6.5 fit? Was thinking another set...
Can you combine 10's and 12's? I have a JL stealth box for my 99 Dodge Ram ext cab truck. It fits under the rear seat. It has (2) 10's in it. JL also makes a stealth box that fits in the middle of the front seat, it has (1) 12 in it. Will this sound ok? I always hear it was bad to install 10's...
