    Does the amp go in to protect and stay there? If so, you could have some internal damage caused by whatever. If you have another amp, see if that works with your system to determine if something is wrong with the amp itself.

    remember that a fuse rating is the minimum rating and that on some peaks will allow more flow. this in turn could have caused some internal amp damage. change fuses out and then power up the amp. If it doesn't power up or have any output, then you probably have internal damage.

    Shouldn't be a problem but I personally repair all kinds of amplifiers and would suggest you check out Digikey or Mouser and replace with the same cap.
