Yes it is a 4 channel amp- the hu has separate sub out- which goes to a self amplified sub. A pro installer put in the amp last year- but it has never powered all the speakers. The out from the head unit goes via RCA to the amp- input front. The other input comes from the HU speaker wires...

Why does the amp have two inputs- if the head unit only has one output- can you just hook a splitter to the rca out- and run that to both inputs on the amp- and get the same sounds from all the speakers??? Not running a sub- just 5 speakers on boat???
