    well i was just outside looking at the wires and i was wrong about the colors..thers a white, gray, and blue one. but i found the one you wer talking about. but my question is, do i only use those 4 wires out of that plug? and will i need any wires from the other 2 plugs?

    thanks for that. but which harness are you getting the batt+ , ACC+ , ground, and power antenna from?

    yeh the amp is under the passenger seat. but i planned on bypassing that anyway, because i have 2 12s and an amp to put in there. also i could easily replace the speakers as well, which might be easier cause then i could just run the new speaker wires straight to the headunit right?

    ill take pictures and post them tomorrow. maybe that will help you. i also found this http://community.crutchfield.com/forums/p/11127/48980.aspx and it really helps but im not really sure if it bypasses the factory amp? it says it does but can anyone verify that?

    also when i took the factory stereo out, i saw 3 different harnesses. but in the wiring harnesses that i have found they only have 2. so can someone explain to me what each of the 3 harnesses are?

    i plan on installing the kenwood dnx5140. and ive been looking around and can not find a wiring harness for a 96 ls400 anywheree.. does anyone know of one? or can someone give me the wiring diagram to it?
