just called him today...he said he'll look at it again on thursday. i took my car out not too long ago, and the FM is horrible! the static is MUCH louder and more obnoxious in the dead spots near my house.

i'm just hesistant to bring my car back to this dealer since he didn't know WTF he was talking about this first time.. what else should i have him check out besides the ground or the gains on the amp?????

yeah, i'll call this guy tomorrow...the rest of the setup sounds really nice, but this static shiit is driving me crazy.

he said that the cause of the static was the JL cleansweep unit itself.

only when the car is on. i can tell that the static is distorting the subs/comps.

05 bmw 3 series coupe cleansweep 2-10" jl w6v2 mb quart pce comps jl 500.1 mb quart ra2400 you can only hear the static when the sound is minimal...the sound at hugher levels hides the static.

i dont know much about the technical aspect of car audio, but is there anything i can do to try and fix this? thx in advance.
