Will it damage anything or create a lot of strain on the amp?

I have 4 ohm speakers in the front and have not replaced the factory 2 ohm rears yet. Would it be possible to run this 4 channel profile amp http://www.millionbuy.com/prfap1040.html with the 4 ohms on 2 channels and 2 ohms on the other 2 channels?

A friends sister has the Kenwood mp735U, new and will probably let me have it for $150. The other HU i was considering in the price range is the alpine 9881 or 9883. Which is better quality, the alpine or kenwood, and which is easier to use an ipod with?

I like the looks of the pioneers, but I think they are too deep to mount in a grand cherokee. The website says their mounting depth is 3.5", i think the jeeps has under 3. can anyone confirm this?
