What are the benefits in using a class D monoblock for a subwoofer over a bridged class AB 2-channel amplifier? From what I have read, the class D is easier on your charging system. Is there any audible difference when talking about the sunwoofer? The JL 250/1 is rated as a class D at 250w and...

Common sense told me it would. There's an input switch that toggles between 2 channels or 4 channels so it had me a bit confused. I guess I should upload the manual and read it. Thanks again.

I know channel 1 & 2 can be bridged to 150W and 3 & 4 can be bridged to 300W so I assume the amp can be run with 1 & 2 running stereo at 75w x 2 and 3 & 4 r 300w x 1 at the same time..... correct. Thanks

I believe this is correct. A local Alpine shop told me that as far as the PDX line of amps go, the 2.150 can operate 1/2 channel, the 4.100 & 4.150 can operate 2/3/4 channel but the PDX-5 can only be operated 5 channel. You may want to look into this before you take the jump. Let me know if...
