The eclipse stuff is somewhat overpriced but it does look good. I personally have to go towards the fosgate line myself. Very strong amps and just as strong subs. I had a pair of HX2 subs that pounded over 149Db's for almost 3 years. That is well worth the money.

Dude from experience go with the fosgate amp. If it were me I would go with the 1001bd for the simple fact is that it isn't that much more money and then you will have all the power you need and you won't have to work the 501 so hard.

The first question is how do you have those subs wired. If you have them wired pos to pos and neg to neg on the voice coils then you have those amps running in 1/2 ohm. that is if those subs are 1ohm VC's. I didnt know those spl's came in with 1ohm VC. Those amps will not run like that. I think...
