Get a Wait4Me tune to improve mileage by about 1-2 MPG. Keep the RPM under 2k ALWAYS, and keep your tires full o air/balanced correctly. Biggest things that affected the MPG in my truck. I average 21-22 per tank and I do a lot of city driving. Silverado w/ 4.8L V8.

I say dual runs of 1/0 isn't a bad idea but not a necessity. Definately do the HO Alt, though if you plan on doing a full out high volume showoff, then you might need a bigger alt if you plan on pulling the full 320 amps for long bursts. So, let's see: Bigger / another wire run - Recommended...

It's shorted. Replace the power wire. The wire got exposed somehow and is no good anymore. OR...some strands of the power going into the amp are shorting on the amp chassis...blowing the fuse. Look into it more...but look closely at ALL the power wire and make sure it is not exposed or...
