my box is to wide to do the port on the side of the box it has to be on the front or the top of the box.

i called excessive amperage i believe they wanted like $500 as well for a 220 amp.i decided on a mechman they got an alt for my truck on sale and cant pass it up its a 270 and 160 at idle.now just gotta decide on batteries

Its a 220 amp Both do about the same at idle will there be a big enough difference between the two alternaters to spend the extra two hundred dollars.

so my 2 choices are a db electrical alternator for $229 or a 300 amp alt for $439 from iraggi.i know the iraggi is a better alternator and has more amps but is it worth $200 more.im gonna be running bout 5,000 watts and with the db electrical i could afford a battery and the alt right now.any...
