What would you guys say would be better for a larger truck, a DCON or OA? I feel like the DCON might be might SQ oriented, but all I'm after is bass I can really feel, so it doesn't matter too much how I get there.

I'm looking for more bass mainly, the door speakers (from what I've heard when I used it before) didn't sound terrible, and would be fine for a while.

Yea, I'm definitely doing this in multiple steps, I don't even have my licence until around Christmas anyways, so the budget can probably go up a lot, I might be doing a part time job in the fall as well. I might just save up for an OA15 or something like that, I really want to make this...

So guys, I was wondering, if I powered an SSA or Obsidian 12 with an MRP500 or something like that, would I be able to power it off of my stock alternator/battery? I'm worried about having to make electrical upgrades, mostly because I want to do this all myself... All I want to buy is a new HU...

So do the Type-Rs compete with something like a DCON or Obsidian sub?
