a Line output converter but i have one myself and it sucks replace the hu believe me you'll regret using the LOC at least i have

its a shaker 500....... so what do u suggest trying a diiferent LOC? do u have a good one in mind? what about the speaker wire

by the speakers i tapped the back speakers so i mounted it in my trunk.......... i geuss about half the size because the previous wires were huge i just didnt think all of that was necessary

maybe some thicker wire for my subs i did go a with a smaller gauge when i swapped to my new car but could it realy make that much of a difference???

yeah, i was out there yesterday double checking everything, i just used to get alot more power from the same system until i changed cars and had to settle for a LOC (no money to replace the head unit) i know it has to do with LOC, i used to scare people when i would roll down the block now my...

yeah it does i have it on realy low because it sounds like shit if i turn it up the sub moves like i have it on full blast but i get almost no sound when it does that(it has gain adjustments)

i also used a line output converter and so far i have had nothing but problems with it, i had a post earlier regarding that might want 2 check it out, shit maybe u can give me some advice

i aslo forgot to mention that i cant seem to raise the power level on my amp to more than about a quarter without it sounding like shit i think it has something to do with the rca converter do u have any experience with them?

my first thought as well but the hu sounded great before i even tried any mods and still does throughout the car it's just the subs that im having a problem pushing do u think its the hu undeniably?

so what could i do? other than getting rid of the hu(not an option, low on funds)
