yeah, most provide a range like 1-2 cu ft i dont know im lookin at this mtx thunder 8000 15" dvc, that would be nice!!! but that means, new box, new sub

dont most subs recommend about 1.25 cu ft, give or take, i mean if it wants more, then i will just end up with tighter bass right? and you do mean a different sub, not another one...right?

quick question, u think i should do that, and go get another 12, or keep the box, sell the driver, and get a dvc thats twice the power?

gotcha, but know is it cheaper to sell my sub for 50, and prob get a new 500w for....150? or buy another 12" for 50, plus a box (materials about 30-40) so thats 90 for another 12 or 100 for a new sub (taking into account i sold the other one) so should i go to the trouble of selling my box...

hah hah, well **** know any one that would, see teh problem...is i spent 100 on materials, plus i mean, it would be nice to have the labor pay off or am i just screwed....the whole "live and learn", (and build smarter)

will 1, 12" 500watt sub be louder than 2, 250w ones? like what would the difference be, i would think, based on what ive picked up, that 2 would almost always be louder than one, but maybe its not actually louder, just deeper, or clearer?

because the whole thing isnt made of polycarbonate, and if it was, then it would proably be worth a few hundred in materials? i woulda thought if you put some creative talent into it, it would be worth something, guess not. and my concept wasnt to make it see through, just to make windows...

can you hook up a 4ch amp to a dual voice coil sub, and even if you can, would it be a good idea...? i know it says you can bridge it to 2x250w @ 4ohms, but can i take each of those 2 bridged connections, and sucessfully run a 500w (rms) dvc driver?

i am currently running a rockford 500x which is basically a 4ch amp that can put out 2x250 at 4ohms i only have 1 12" sub however that runs at 300rms basically i want more bass, so the problem is i built a custom box, and put a little too much time and money into it, and its basically really...

sounds good to me, and yeah my sub is 4ohm (svc) so if i got another it would be the same i was just wondering if it would be better to somehow rig up some dvc 12"s or at least one like a JL 12w7 i could put 500 in that 2ch to 2voice coil but thats not recommended is it...? having a 4ch amp...
