what is the amp fused at? multiply voltage at terminals (we'll say 14.7 to be optimistic) times the fuse ratings, for example i bet you have a 40 amp fuse. That means 14.7x40 equals 588 watts. your amp would blow the fuse if it drew the neccesary current to produce 1 more watt, and thats at...

are those 4 gauge or 8 gauge power/ground leads?

do you have the cage for the headunit? does the crossover still function and any lights lite up?

What are the ratings for those two fuses?

If you run 8 gauge wire for a nice amp like that JBL it'll cut off at full tilt. That stuff isn't overrated, you'll wanna give that amp all the room it needs for power. It's a one time investment, get quality wire. Power affects every element past both those amps.

Yep any auto parts store will have one adapter or sorts that gives you alot more options with your terminal. I used a big silver one and was able to fit 1/0 in all the spots and still have it all cranked down nice and tight. I admit, i bought some pre-terminaled and color coded wire from a...

220 amps x 14.7 volts= 3234 watts. If you REALLY want a 7000 watt system, i'm sure you'll have no problem paying for a custom bracket to be made to mount a second 220 amp alternator. 440x14.7=6468 at 100% efficiency, which is unheard of.

I just took a look at the terminals, I REALLY think you could squeeze 1/0 in there. Make an excellent ground for it, and fuse for (2000watts/13volts)=~150amps.
