I have posted on here before but now I have a new idea and with this new idea comes new obstacles..So I am going to build myself a box for my MTX 7515. I went to the MTX website and it says the best enclosure is 2.42 ft^3 tuned at ~34hz.
The port is 2" wide, which is little bitty. What would...
Okay guys so I am going to be running an Audioque 2200D.. and eventually a decent amp for the speakers, Will this be enough?
Big 3, 240a Alternator(mechman), and a XS Power D3400.
I have used Type R's and DD 3500 series before.
The DD is definitely the way to go IMO, I was much more impressed with the way it sounded.
2 Type R 10s vs 1 DD 3515
haha i have her inverted now....and i lined the basket or whatever its called with rope caulk...it has helped tremendously.
and I have another box at a buddies but its 2.5 cf tuned at 44hz..i kind of hate it.
Yeah I can tell...lol Its about 3.19 cubes tuned at 38.35hz when I put everything into Torres Box Calculator..
I just found it...i hope to build my own in a week or so.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. Yeah I inverted it and tried it out...sounds like its leaking air and it sounds kinda funky too...oh man Im going to measure it and see the CF and tuning..
So a buddy of mine found this box, its made for a 15 but mine wont fit in it unless I invert it...Think its possible to make the circle a little larger? If it is, how would I go about doing it?
