Only because I can get a good price on a 12 so that was what I put into the equation. I would consider a 15 if anyone has one they are wanting to get rid of.

Never listened to fi subs before. I am looking for a nice SQ sub that can take 1k watts daily. How would this compare to a JBL gti15 or a diamond d9?

I picked up a pair of hex's from thug_life. Haven't installed/heard them yet but they were new in the box and legit so good seller in my mind.
