yeah i agree with Cyn. that install kit is junk. it uses undersized wire and its aluminum instead of copper. and the fuse holders have a tendency to melt.

just get those 6500's, an amp, and be done with it.

sorry guys no pics. he took it to a bike this morning so i had to work all night, and i didnt have my camera. yeah u cant hear much over the exhuast but it sounds pretty good when just the ignition is on. the weight wasn't an issue cause the amp was on the other side.

i have a customer who wants more bass on his harley. i am thinking of a 4th order using one of his fiberglass side bags. im guessing i need to make the sealed side the size suggested from rockford, its a shallow p3 btw, and make the ported side as big as i can. which isnt much the whole bag...

me and my friend are thinking about pitching in and buying a mic and meter. just so we can have a casual competition. bragging rights and maybe a trophy. if there's any interest. there hasn't been a comp here in years, its been pretty sad and quiet around here lately.

calculating size and port length involves alot of math and most people wont do it for u. i usually go with around 15in2 of port opening area per cubic foot of box volume i think. dont include the volume of the port into the volume of the box. and ummm it would be alot more helpful if u posted...
