I know it was answered above, but what is the logic behind not mixing subwoofer brands? I mean, if they have the same wattage, and are in 1 box, is it still bad?

Okay, last questions... I take it adding to the bass via the equalizer in my head unit, or turning on "loud" via my head units equalizer is a quick and easy way to blow my woofers? also, does wire gauge affect the sound much?
