My brother has been running an SX for quite some time and we've experimented with many enclosures and powers. It's loud as balls, but the SQ is not that great IMO. Many better sounding drivers out there.

As far as most applications are concerned, shape doesn't make a difference. That's not completely true, as some shapes - if the correct size - can cause standing waves...but for the standard application and the size you're speaking of...it'll be fine

What? EDIT: Moving air is dependent on the cone area, and the cone travel (easiest way to compare is xmax). The airspace of the enclosure doesn't really affect how much air you move unless you count the compression in smaller enclosures and such...but that's more complicated than you're looking...

Duke is right, dual 2 ohm coils. As far as box size, right about 3.5 cubes for a ported enclosure is what you're looking at for daily driving.
