    Manufacturer's Specs: Boston Acoustics G5

I could use your help, yesterday I received my Boston Acoustics G512 DVC 4OHM sub. I am ready to start building the box but a bit confused by the manufacturer's recommended sealed box specs as follows: Model: G512" G10" H = Height: 10.5" (26.7cm) W = Width: 13.0" (33.1cm) D = Depth: 13.0"...

12" sub on 1 cube sealed box?

I've been watching the IDQ V3...and I've heard a lot of folks on this board talk about how good it is. If I push this with a Kenwood 500 RMS amp in a sealed setup as per ideal volume...how much in db's would I lose than if the same amp would push in a ported enclosure? Thanks!

Hate to break it to ya, but Sonicelectronix has these for $159 plus shipping brand new. The passive radiator is $64.00 shipped. I been looking at these for a minute and will probably be getting them shortly...just don't see the price...I understand what you paid for them tho...feel for ya.

12" sub on 1 cube sealed box?

S2000 Type R setup....I would be interested in how the Type R sounds in that sealed enclosure...also what kind of amp you have pushing that. I too am doing a similar project but in a Dodge Magnum. I've been told the Type R is more for SQL than for SQ. If anyone could confirm.

    Is $40 A Good Price for a JBL BP300.1?

I say yea that's a good price. I just got a Kenwood KAC7204 2 Channel 500 RMS sub off Ebay for $63 bux. The description said used, I got it in the mail today and not a scratch. It looks brand new. Good luck!

    Question

I gave it a try and my amp powered my speakers just fine. I made a trip to Tucson and back...about three hours of straight driving and never had any issues. So thanks all for the lessons learned.

    Keep blowing fuses...

Don't mean to thread jack...but in this case, would the gauge of the power & ground come into play?

    Question

At the risk of being roasted...what happens if I were to connect two speakers to same channel. For instance, I have a four channel amp. I am tempted to wire, not in series or bridge, but to just shove two speaker wires into one channel for +/- and two speaker wires into the channel two +/-. The...
