    I havent tried reving the engine... this is all being done in my garage so car isnt moving... I did try turning down the gain and the noise is still there (with the gain at like 25%)...

    Hey guys, I just installed my components and I noticed that there was a hissing sound coming out of the tweeters regardless of what song i played. So I paused the music and the noise was still coming out. Any ideas on what it could be?

    yea I have not being able to pull my back seat down.. everything would sound so much better I'm actually working on a solution as we speak (I might try to replace my back seat with a seat from another similar car)

    now what if your alternator doesnt put out 14.4 volts.. will there be a significant wattage drop?
