Am I the only one with a DNX8120 on this board?

I have been trying to connect to my Kenwood DNX8130 from its external USB but my Windows computer does not seem to recognize it. I am using the Mapsource software to detect my receiver but it does not find it. Could it be my installation did not connect the USB properly? I have my iPOD connected...
