    Dont know if this was said or not but kicker recommends a tuning of around 40 which is purely spl. Dont know why

    Which kind of box ultimately hits lower and louder? My friend thinks if he puts his kicker cvx 12 in a sealed box it would hit lower than the same sub in a ported box tuned to say 30. What do you guys think?
