I have just installed a new SOny CD player in my 98 Taurus and I am wanting to replace my door speakers and get a good amp to run the new speakers. They will be probably 6x8's or 6 1/2. MY cd player is just 17 rms so I would like possibly 50x2 rms. I see so many brands that I really dont know...

Thanks for the replys. I have not looked at any amps at all but I may consider getting one first and maybe a pair of decent speakers. ANy suggestions on the best bang for the buck amp. Thanks Steve
