i looked around deeper and guys are fitting 5.25 drivers in the front doors but no 6.5, just no room w/ out hacking the door panel all to shit and pretty much ruining it. kick panels are out of the question as i do not want to lose foot room or worry about my passenger kicking the hell out of them.

i got my alt in the mail today from db electrical. looks to be very well built. i also just ordered one of the battery terminal adapters w/ 4 0gauge ring terminals so i can do the big 3 once i get the alt on. im hoping after all of this, all my electrical problems will be solved.

i wasnt expected to get so many replies w/ guys not fusing their cables. but i guess it might be a good thing haha. looks like i will try it w/ out a fuse first go around and make sure the wire is secured away from any moving objects.

hm sounds like i may be fine w/ out fusing the wire. i just wasnt sure if i should chance of burning up the wire somehow.
