thanks all...I took the Neg Cable out, and now no sparks ...but I'm having trouble putting the cables into the slots on the amp..Looks like these cables are very thick, and not all the copper wirings are fitting in flush...when I tighten it, the cables are not 100% in...whats the best approach...

I have 2 amps, a sub, and Polk DB570 Coaxial speakers setup on my car. I was thinking of maybe down the road installing Components in the front. Is installing them the same as coaxial?
