    you bet they are in fact With a little help I have gotten them down to 3/4 ohm but I wouldn't recommend it because the slope inverts at 1 ohm and you will start to lose power.

    The PA will not overheat unless it is underpowered. I will agree it is a bit hungry compared to the JBL but it will out perform it I gaurantee you that.

    The power acoustik 2100d benched in my shop at 2200w peak and settled in around 1400 watts rms. The price is a cool $279 my cost.

    Makes sense. Do you have any links to research papers or the like. This is very interesting. I am now in the home theatre business and have never heard this from anyone in the industry. Thanks for the info.
