Yeah...I heard about the installer institute in Florida and acoustic edge in Houston. I just wasn't sure if there were any closer to me. Acoustic edge also has one in Oklahoma City.

Spend a little more and get cvx's if you can. The cvr's aren't bad subs for what you are wanting.

L7s are more but I would say barely outperform the cvx. It all depends on the setup.

See, that's what I've heard. I have l7s now and am not getting the sq I would like. They bump plenty hard though. Is the sq better on the cvx's because of the surface area and roundness?

Build your own box. It's easy, cost efficient, and you can do it to whatever spec you want. You can leave it sealed and use the plan you've drawn up. Just make sure the subs have the right amount of space otherwise you won't get the sound you are wanting. A sealed box will do the job just...

With the right build of a box, with the room you have, one of your 12" l7 could possibly hit harder and have better sq than the 2 of them together. It's not always how many subs you have.

the zx1500.1 is also a very nice amp. Depending on the cubic feet you give the enclosure will determine a lot. L7s were really directed more towards ports and to be loud. In a sealed box you may not get the sq due to the fact that there may not be enough air space especially for 2. I'm not...
