Yeah, but then I lose a great deal of SPL from my other amp because it is then underperforming...

Cappy is becoming like a bitter old lady! Uhh...to answer the question originally asked! Get an aftermarket headunit. It will do a superior job of controlling your old amp plus any new ones you want to add. If you cherish poor quality sound and dull looks in a receiver, keep your factory deck.

Where do the noises come from? The speakers or the headunit? Are you running this solely on external amps? ...and i'm pretty sure it doesn't have the option to turn off the internal amp.

That is how it is currently set up...It's an old school Alpine amp that really does kick butt! But it clips too soon...I need advice for what to do! A sub volume control switch will solve my problem, no?

I need to find an external switch to control the amp volume. I've seen them before, they have a knob that allows you to adjust the signal going into the amp via RCA if I remember correctly. I do not want to buy some piece of crap Boss or Audiovox switch. Any good brands you would suggest and...

A visualization? No. You need to get computer equipment installed in your car for that. They do, however have some pretty complex spectrum analyzers on some models that are visually attractive to the maximum!
