Okay I'm going to try it using a Schosche 2-channel line output converter and see if that fixes it.

Are you sure that would work? I know that bose speakers have their own amps because they run off of 1ohm, not the usual 4 ohms

I may try this. Would the line output converter create any loss in SQ? When you say bypass do you mean like "not use" the speakers?

Yeah I think they do have their own amp system...Unfortunately I don't have the money to get the rest of the speakers upgraded
