    I just went ahead and ordered a new LOC, but you may definitely be right. I just don't know enough past the LOC part other then the fuses, which i have already checked. If this doesnt work ill have to really dig into, but wouldnt know wich wires to even check. All i know is that wire gave ready...

    So aweosme news, i tested the amp with power directly to remote in, it worked.. Turns out its simply the LOC. So easy 30-40$ fix, ill swap that out and should be all set. Thank you everyone who responded and tried to help, greatly appreciated.

    So just to clarify, to test the amp, does main power and ground wire stay connected to amp, THEN run a seperate wire from the remote turn on of amp to positive lead on car battery? or did i misunderstand. Just dont want to fry something else. Then for LOC, can i run a wire directly into a fuse...

    I have access to the LOC. Ive tried checking voltage for in and out, i think at least. Both read same 2.5 to 3 volts approx. Same as the wire the comes from LOC to remote in connection on amp. Consistent voltage. However the LOC itself, the power light does not come on. Im hoping it just the...

    I am not sure , i had it installed, and has been working for almost 2 years. So it wasnt a case of not done right. My other option i was going to try connecting directly to remote in. How would i do that safely, and what exactly is jumper wire?
