    so it sounds like the bass of of the vocals is more of a cross over/EQ issue not so much the tuning of the box. Are there resistors or something that can be added inline before or after the amp to accomplish this?

    looks like the volume is .78 - .59 for the speaker so the volume is .74. RF recommends .65. should i still remove most all of the stuffing?

    thanks for all the advice. Im going to take 80% of it out and see how that sounds. The amp is on LowPass and there is still muddy bass on vocals. RF suggests .6 CF for that particular sub. If i were to alter the size of the box... Does it matter if the sub is in the center of the box? Id...

    well the amp only has a high pass, normal pass, and low pass. It is set to the low pass. Is there any way to further adjust this short of an EQ? Its all hooked up to a factory lexus system. I took out about half the stuffing, and I cant tell any difference. It does seem to play muddy bass...

    im not overly concerned with loud. I just want there to be full bass. Now there is decent boom on lows, but there is unwanted boom on voice and just over all messy bass. Will fill and box size change this?
