Yeah definitely make another ring below that one, thats a REALLY small amount of wood to keep the woofer in place. As for bagging a Voy, look at Ridetech (Air ride technologies). They make some killer stuff and reliable. I got a Full FBSS air ride setup with 4 Viair 480's, 8.5 gal tank, 1/2"...

The reason why it seems so deep is because the enclosure is really far forward. My seats cant go past the B pillar without either hitting subs or on the corners. Its about 37 inches deep total from front to back. From the B pillar post to the C pillar post is only how deep it really is.

Still the same level 5s... when I bought it the truck had no equipment in it, just the subs and wall. I fixed the problems with the wall and threw in the batts, wire and amp and also finished off the back.
