600W RMS amp on a 600W RMS solobaric. The L7 has 750W RMS correct? So would it sound better?

Just say my amp powers a L5 12 perfectly, would an L7 sound better even though I'll be short a little power from the amp?

I haven't got an amp yet, but it'll help me decide now that I know.
