i used to have a brutus 1000 watt pushing my kicker cvx 15 which was a small amp i know for that sub but i ran it with 14 volts and blew it in like 3 weeks.I now have a MA audio hk 1600 running on like 16 volts and its maxed out benn running it for a year never overheats shuts off or anything.
