Noob building a small car setup

I'll be honest I ran one 12 inch on my civic with a 200 watt Rockford amp and it shakes the car at full. In doors and rear I have 4 audiopipe mids with 2 taramps . My civic can be heard over a block away with all of that so I doubt you will need two subs. Unless you want all bass and nothing else.

VW golf MKV RCD 300 to RCD 320

To my knowledge you need a canbus simulator for it to function properly.

    Subwoofer "Rattle"...

Just get a aux cable to rca and use your phone. Saves moving stuff and the cable is like 5 bucks at walmart

installation - voltage problem - any help would be really appreciated

So the yellow is not going to be your memory. If it had a cassette deck than it would most like be something else.so what you could do is connect the red wire to both the red and yellow on the hu to make sure it still works. I'm hoping it didn't fry something with the extra power. If you have a...

    Not to sure

Sounds like a wire came loose. Check your connections.

Remove oem aux port Honda CR-V?

You could wire the stock aux port into the head unit. Depends on the head unit of course but if it has rca inputs than wire it into a rca and voila. Another use would be making it a switch if you ever add subwoofer lighting or any lighting really. I mean pretty much depends on what you want to...

    Speaker wiring

So I just repaired a taramps 440x4 amp that wasnt working when amazon shipped it to me.( A fuse wasn't soldered right.) So since they refunded the money I ordered a taramps 400x4. So I'm going to use the 440 for the front speakers and the 400 on the rear.(sub has its own amp). So what is the...

    1995 Civic

How deep were your speakers? I ended having 1 1/2 inch spacers just to get mine to fit in the door? That's also with baffles as well and I really could of used another 1/2 spacer but I made it work.

    1995 Civic

I agree on your post. My civic has zero rattling except the license plate which I fixed but when you open that door people are shocked of how loud the stereo actually is. I never added dampening material to it but it is quiet on the outside. I'm dying to do a custom trunk for the PS and sub.

Looks good. I just did my 96 civic. How big of a sound difference between kick panel speakers and door? I thought about putting my components in the kick panel but was also worried of people kicking them

    Taramps for voice

I have a taramps 400 pushing 4 6 inch audiopipe mids range and it is loud. Going to add a 440x4 in the near future.

    Where do you tune/test?

Any empty parking lot will do. Usually not a issue.

    Amp settings

So I installed 4 audiopipe APMB-638SB-C. My question is should I have my amp at high pass or full? I plan on installing a second amp once I can change out the fuses on it (taramps solders on the fuses) so I will have a 400 and a 440 to power all 4 speakers. Most likely the 400 for the back and...

    Amp install

Just pull the rear speakers out and look at the wires if you can't find a diagram. I have had to do that on a car of mine.
