yeah, I was using my friend's 9887 today and went to bestbuy to try out the display x100 they had and I figured the big wheel would eventually irritate the hell out of me lol, the 9887's navigation is pretty slick as well so I don't regret my purchase at all.

wow, 2? lol, they must be worth it . and yeah i agree, the missing EQ and 2v preouts are definitely a turn off for me, but i know you can up the preouts to 4v with the imprint but that's another $150 or so investment. Now what's this about the ipod control being nothing special? they advertise...
