Thanks i did not know that. I do plan on upgrading the alt to a 250amp will that be big enough?

i plan on getting one but with just the batts would i get 13-14 volts? or is there some way that i got to wire them to get it?

I got a 2005 Impala with a stock alt about 90 amp. i plan on running 3 yellow tops, 1 under the hood 2 in the trunk. i will be running a HK4000d and a RF T400-4. Help plz:confused:

yea not bad at all. i started off with the same thing i pick all my stuff up at a pawn shop for 50 bucks. i just want you to know that those VR3s are in my eyes the worst subs on earth.

Now i'm not trying to talk shit but the 10 is a vr3 if you want some thing cheap that still sounds good i would go with the Pioneer TS-W307D4. i ran these with a 16ga wire hooked up to a Pioneer GM-5400T with a 8ga wire going to it and it sounded good and i hit a 137.6db not bad for a 380 watt...

what kind of amp is it?

i would turn the amp down and hook up both 12's. It is not good for the amp to be turned all the way up could be clipping.
