    SSA Xcon 18 in Jeep

Great sub and it should do very well in your Jeep for sure. Enclosure specs will depend on your output goals, the maximum dimensions you have for an enclosure and the power the sub will be on.

    Speakers unloading?

Its from a lack of support. Either too large of volume for the power the subs are seeing, too much port area, or playing too far below the tuning of the port. It could also be a combination of the three.

    Best Blow Through Sub box

I'd look at running the subs @ 2 ohm. It will be more efficient and easier on an amp. You could look into a 2 ohm stable amp like Alpine or Kicker. You can purchase a 1 ohm stable amp that would give you the power you're wanting @ 2 ohm but you'll end up paying more for the power. What kind of...

I need help with port design for a Soundqubed sub

12 square inches of port per net cubic foot, tuned to 35 Hz.

    hdc3 15 box help.

That's because the HDC has a high Fs and a high EBP, not suited for a 4th order at all. If daily music is your goal, go ported as recommended above. If tons of output is your goal, place the sub in a parallel 6th.

LF Box Design - Two DC Lvl 2 12's

I've got a design that will work. After sub displacement it will be 4 cubic foot net, tuned to 35 Hz with 54 square inches of port. The design with cut list would be $25. Shoot me an email to afanofdeftones@hotmail.com if interested.

    Need BEST SA12 Enclosure!!

What is this going in, what amp is it on? You could maybe do a bandpass if you have the room, greatly increasing efficiency and still keeping it daily.

Fiberglass, tying into the wood of the enclosure. Three layers thick of 1 1/2 ounce mat is equivalent to 3/4" wood.

    4th order design ?

I can come up with something for you. I'll just need to know the subs, amp, and max dimensions. For the blowthrough, I'll need to know how tall and wide the port opening can be into the cab of the truck and any specific area you would want it.

    Ported box volume

You'll want to focus on net volume after port, sub and bracing displacement. I normally have two set dimensions, say height and width, and leave depth open. I figure up what the displacement of my port will be, what the bracing and subs will take up then by multiplying/dividing I can determine...

    box design help need asap

Thanks for the shout out CSCStang. If you're planning to wall off the trunk and fire into the cabin and you're looking for maximum output, both loud and low, I would suggest a parallel 6th order. The HDC3-12's are more suited for ported applications and a bandpass would make the best use of your...
