Over time the 11.9 drops can start to wear down on the amp. I would recommend doing the BIG 3 if you haven't yet. And 11.9 and under can cause the amp to cut out.

Two type R's would be louder. Just one type X would sound better but type X's cant handle the mids as much. Better for the money I say type R's

Well a test tone ran me down to 13.9v after like 20 seconds or so when I had the amp. And it was at 2ohms so thats fine for that amp. Im just trying to keep my next amp or if this one gets refurbed from frying again. If you are clipping the sub with the amp does that hurt the amp at all?

Use the birthsheet rating IF you have a good electrical. (big 3 + bat) Use the rated power IF you dont have a decent electrical.
